Inkle Weaving Cheap Sheep

Rose

Stephenie

Yesterday we had a great day remembering long-time guild member and founder, Mary P.    Mary was known as the Inkle Queen, so we spent the day learning to warp inkle looms and create some lovely bands.

Many thanks to Kathy and Dan M. for hosting the event and BBQ!

Zelda the Pirate Mermaid

Here is Zelda, so far. Still need to make a trihorn hat for her (probably black felt). I put the super long wig on her and it looks good. For a top for her, we could artfully drape her hair and then drizzle that skein of ribbon from Karn. It is about the color of kelp -- perfect! Does she need an eye patch? Anybody have a parrot??? Ohh, parrot fish!
Will work on the octopus bartender tonight.
